sending checkbox value from one angular JS to php file

I'm making an app consisting of a list of items from which user can select n items through CHECKBOXES. I want the selected answers from each of the checkboxes to be converted in boolean string, sent through json from the angular js to php file. can someone please give any website reference or a code snippet?
