Traveler HTML Template - Custom Checkbox design for ASP.NET Checkbox List Control

I'm using this template for a project: http://ift.tt/2eKovN5

I want to use CheckboxList from ASP.NET Controls to get easier all checked items but I cannot get the same design (and it's not working too).

The grey boxes are from ASP.NET and I cannot hide them?! It should be the same, only without the grey boxes. The orange box is how it should be when checked.

Any ideas?
