How to create a dropdown menu mapped with checkbox, in which I can select multiple values without using ctrl button?

I am trying to create a dropdown menu in which I can select multiple values without pressing ctrl button. I just got an idea that, dropdown values can be mapped with the checkboxes. But I am not able to code it. Can anyone help me out with this in TYPESCRIPT code?
