C# winform datagrid column checkbox not visible

I have a datagrid with two columns(one statically created and one programatically). The programatically created column is a checkbox type. For some users, the second column is not fully visible. screenshot with issue. The columen header is "Centre" but the "C" is not visible too along with the tick. I have not been able to recreate the issue myself so I have not been able to try many changes to the property of the datagrid column. The column with issue has width set to column header. I tried setting AllowUserTiResizeColumns to true, but the tick remains hidden even when I drag the column to left. Has anyone had any similar issue? Any suggestions for fix/workaround.
