asp.net checkbox checked event take longer time to respond and checkbox checked when it is processing it give anoynomous result

I have multiple checkboxes on my asp.net webapplication. when checkbox checked the prize on label increase also when they unchecked prize decrease. every checkbox has some different prize value . My Problem is my server take long time time to respond so that if checkboxes are checked frequently it give unexpected result. can some one help me .
