Terms and conditions checkbox failed to be clicked

I accept the Terms and conditions and privacy policy checkbox failed to be clicked, the link for Terms or conditions is clicked instead. Two links are within the text of the checkbox (one is terms and conditions, and the other one is privacy policy). I even tried to use Katalan recorder to locate the element for the checkbox, and it gave me the same outcome. From selenium Java. Anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks!
