Make a checkbox list

I need to make a list/vector/matrix or something similar with checkboxes using Visual Basic, for example, if I enable a checkbox, add "1" to the list, but if i disable the checkbox, delete "1"w from the list. I spent all day searching for something similar but didn't find it.
