jsTree multiple state checking

I've a jsTree-instance for right-management (aviable web-pages). Now I would like to establish the same for data, but have the problem that I would like to forgive more than one state there.

If the checkbox is not checked then users are not allowed to access it. If the checkbox has been clicked once, then they've read access only and if the checkbox is checked twice, they're also allowed to write. First I was thinking about radio-buttons, but I can't see any way to implement them. I know about three state checkbox, but I they don't suit my needs. They can't be controlled by checking.
