JQuery Dynamic checkbox state should remain the same after refresh

I have Jquery script which will create checkbox dynamically based on some selection. What are the different ways to make checkboxes state remain the same after page refresh???? I'm new to Javascript and Jquery. Browsed thru lot of sites and as per my research i came to know that there are two ways to do it i.e., storing values locally and cookies. But i couldn't find the way to save state for dynamically created checkboxes.
