Synchronizing checkbox with a combobox in MS Access

I have a form with a Combo Box, bunches of List Boxes, and couple Check Boxes. I have synchronized the list boxes with the combo box, it means when I select a value from the combo box, list boxes update automatically. My problem is that the check boxes do not update by selecting value from the combo box. Do you know how can I figure it out? Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate if you tell a Macro method if you know.
