How can I add checkboxes using YAML?

I am working on a template design for a GUI using YAML. I'm aware of the header, parameter and components section. So far, I've been able to design a series of drop down lists but not been able to design check boxes. Can someone help me out with this? Can the type 'object' be of any use here ?
