Is there a way to save checkboxes?

I'm trying to find a way to save the checkboxes on the Members signup page so it shows who's playing the next match. Whenever I click refresh the checkboxes disappear. Is there a better way to accomplish this? Here's a link to my github "https://github.com/Jonnoramo/Letchworth_PGA_Swindle"

I've tried using radio buttons and a Save button.
