Checking if a checkbox appear

The process i am working on requires the inputting of a registration into a search bar. There are two scenarios:

1) Registration is entered and a checkbox appears. If the box appears the macro will tick the box and move on to processing that vehicle

2) That vehicle has been processed before and doesnt require processing again. As a result of this, when the registration is entered no checkbox appears. So i need the code to recognise no checkbox and move back to the search bar and work on the next registration from the CSV file and if possible log that it hasnt been able to process that registration.
