hai i can't retrieve checkedlistbox values from the database using jsp

i want to retrieve the checkedlistbox value from the database using jsp. when i run the jsp code with the help of sql database..if their is a value=1 in the column the checkbox is clicked automatically in the jsp web page...and i want to unclicked the checkbox it's value pass -1 and it will be updated to the sql database.....the code is in asp.net....here it is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3z_nXvEA8B4..... but how can we write in java jsp project
