Checkbox list without using submit

if i have this code:

<div><input type="checkbox" name="lista[]" value="3424"> 3424<br><input type="checkbox" name="lista[]" value="3333"> 3333<br></div>

I would like to have the checkbox value in the variable $valore without using any submit button

help me?
