How to customize Checkboxes with BootstrapVue?

I want to use checkboxes to select values out of an array within BootstrapVue. Therefor I currently use the default BootstrapVue stylings. Unfortunatly these stylings do not fit in my website design and I did not find a working solution on how to change these stylings.

Does anyone know how to change the default BootstrapVue checkbox styling?

My goal is to create a simple checkbox styling like shown in the picture below.
