why Check box fires 2 events c#

i have 2 checkboxes with 1 handler onLostFocus. the problem is that if i move focus from 1 check box to another it fires 2 events from checkbox1 and checkbox2

if focus moved somewhere else it fires 1 event

PS it was bubbling
