SQL Command and Checkbox?

This doesn't work.

cmd.Parameters.Add("@Result", OleDbType.VarChar).Value = Me.cb_Result.Text

What datatype would it be, I've tried using .VarChar and .Boolean but they both do not work for a checkbox. The @Result is a YES/NO format field in the access database.
