save checkbox state to access database

Im doing my internship in a company. I was given a task to make a to-do list in android application. They already have a system on a computer and I need to do a mobile version of it. I already made a checkbox to mark which to-do list have been done or not.

My problem is they store all the data in a MS access database. And i don't know how to save all the checkbox state to the database. I cant use other database as this was what given to me.

Can you help me? how can I save the checkbox state to MS Access database? Do you have any recommendation on how can i do this apps?
