Zoom to layer on secondary click

I have a leaflet map with about 20 layers, a combination of raster and vector layers. I'm using a checkbox to activate the layer. I'd like to make it so if you click on the name of the layer or maybe a secondary checkbox that will zoom to the extent of that layer.
