Open excel files depending on which Word content control checkboxes are checked

Hi any help would be much appreciated.

I have a form fillable word document (word 2010) with a number of content control checkboxes (all uniquely numbered and each representing a different excel file).

I want to have a button in the document that will open all the corresponding excel files (if they are checked).

I then want to copy a few of the word documents Rich Text content controls to the open excel files......
