How to add a required checkbox to my native WP Comment Form?

I am using the native comment form from wordpress, I have customised quite a bit but one thing I can't figure out is how to add a required checkbox that says something like 'I agree to the privacy policy when submitting a comment' (and then it should also link to the privacy policy)

I know that WordPress adds a checkbox already in for gdpr reasons, but that one is not enough. I also need a checkbox that is mandatory, so that the user is required to check it before being able to post a comment.

I want to avoid having to use a plugin for this. Is there any tutorial that explains this?
