Edit nested route send params from checkbox checked

I have a list (table), with all my events within.:

CHECKBOX   NAME_OF_EVENT  DATE_OF_EVENT

This list is in my events/index, and i would like to go to events/new, passing a parameter._id, and this parameter._id should be the column that have the checkbox clicked, like:

{{link-to 'events.new/ID OF CHECKBOX CHECKED' }}Edit{{/link-to}}

I am relative new to Ember, and i'm not finding a satisfactory answer.. so i don't know exactly where should i start.
