How to Put cf-validation for multiple checkboxes in a feildset

I am using space10 plugin for conversational-form.I am facing a issue when I put cf-validation on feildset its not going to the corresponding js function.Here is my code:

var selected_cities=function(dto, success, error){ }

Please help me to fix this.Thanks
