dynamically checking a checkbox in a webpage in Java

so i'm starting to work with webpages,html parsing (with jsoup), downloading and etc in java and it occurs to me that my program needs to check a specific checkbox in a specific URL and after that "click" on a "done" button so the applied setting remain saved. just as i said i know how to parse and receive html files and how to download files but i don't have a clue about how to do send such requests to a webpage since my knowledge is limited. thanks in advance.
