How to pass a list from Dialog to the activity in Android?

My requirement is, OnClick I need to pop up a dialog with recyclerView. And using adapter, the list of items are listed in the Dialog. I want to select multiple items using checkbox and need to pass these items into the Activity and set the array of items in the TextView using a comma(,). NB:(I'm not using AlertDialog)
