- How to style checkbox using CSS? 14 answers
I'm developing a Chrome app which contains checkboxes, but I don't much care for the way that Chrome renders checkboxes these days...
I like the way that other browsers render checkboxes better (looks more "professional", in my opinion). For example, in Firefox it looks like...
And if I recall correctly, the checkboxes in earlier verions of Chrome looked much more 'standard' (similar to how checkboxes in current versions of Firefox, IE, etc. look).
So my question is... is there any easy way (via CSS) to get Chrome to render checkboxes in a more 'standard' looking style?
I know that there are JS libraries out there for creating checkboxes and other form elements, but that just seems like overkill for what I'm trying to do.
I just want a "standard" (old-school) looking checkbox... in Chrome.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
