Symfony Drop down list and checkbox from database

Im doing a symfony project for a real estate website,in the admin panel i want to have a drop down list of all properties from database, displaying only the name(short title) in the drop down list (property is an object with other fields). then i need to create some checkboxes for a set of 'badges' also retrieved from db

in short how do i create a drop down list and a set of checkboxs populated from a database using symfony
