Image Mapping Android - ImageView - SVG - Bitmap - any solution how to tackle Image Mapping challange?

I'm working on a questionnaire android application in Android Studio. I have 2 questions that can only be answered in a form of a clickable part of the main image.

Example: Main Image is an hand and we ask the user to select the thumb. User interface should show 1 main image of the entire hand. Once user clicks on any part of the hand it will highlight his/her selected area and app registered an click event and checked the checkbox option. If the user clicks the same spot/area again, the highlighted area gets invisible and checkbox option will be unchecked.

I have this seen working on Android app so I know it's available but can't find something that works or is up te date with current SDK.

Please any help appreciated!!
